Various shooting functions
RICOH THETA Series has 4 shooting modes: "Auto", "Shutter priority", "ISO priority", and "Manual". In "Auto" shooting, the camera is not only set to the optimum mode, but exposure correction and HDR rendering can also be performed.

HDR rendering (Auto only)
Compensation function suitable for shooting at a location where there is a great difference in brightness. Shooting and rendering of four different images under exposure conditions in one shooting enables a wide and dynamic range image to be captured. * Shooting after securing the camera to a tripod or other stable surface is recommended.

Noise reduction (Auto only)
Compensation function suitable for high definition shooting in a dark place. When noise reduction is turned ON, the ISO sensitivity is automatically set to low sensitivity. Noise can be reduced by rendering after continuous shooting for multiple photos depending on the situation. * Shooting after securing the camera to a tripod or other stable surface is recommended.

Interval shooting
A function that can automatically perform continuous shooting at set intervals. RICOH THETA V can shoot at a minimum interval of four seconds. This can be converted to a time lapse video with the THETA+ app. A function suitable for shooting the movement of clouds, recording a party, and the like.

Various play methods
360° still images and videos taken with RICOH THETA can be transferred to a smartphone for viewing.
Transferred still images and videos can be viewed at the desired angle by moving them freely by pinching in or out on a touch panel or sliding them to rotate them. -
360° still images or movies taken by RICOH THETA allows you to feel the VR world easily by combining various VR viewers*. Switch the app display format to VR view and insert a smartphone into the VR viewer. Look into the VR viewer to enjoy a grand view in front of you. Since the image moves along with the movement of your head, you can have an immersive experience as if you were at that spot.
*RICOH does not guarantee the operation of all VR viewers. -
Sharing 360° still images and videos
360° still images and videos taken with RICOH THETA can be easily shared on SNS. Even if the person you are sharing the image or video with does not have the THETA app, he/she can still enjoy the 360° still image or video in a browser or on an SNS platform.
Still images or videos manipulated with the specialized editing app "THETA+" can similarly be easily shared on SNS.
