Shooting

STEP 1

Shooting

Press the [Power] button to turn the camera on. Press the [Shutter] button to start shooting.

Taken with the smartphone

STEP1

Starting the camera

Press the [Power] button to turn the camera on. Check that the wireless lamp lights red. Press the [Wireless] button if it is not lit.

STEP2

Connecting the camera to a smartphone

Select the SSID of the camera in the Wi-Fi settings of the smartphone and enter the serial number for password. The serial number printed on the base of the camera is the same as the SSID and password.

STEP3

Starting the smartphone application and checking the connection

Use the smartphone to start the RICOH THETA app and check that the camera's wireless lamp has turned to blue.

STEP4

Remote shooting

Tap the [Θ] mark and switch to shooting mode. When you tap the [Shoot] button at the cen-ter of the screen, remote shooting will start.

Interval shooting

Perform STEP 1 to STEP 3 in "Remote shooting with a smartphone."

STEP2

Shooting settings

Tap the [Shooting settings] button of the gear icon in the lower right corner of the shooting screen and go to the setting screen. Specify the shooting interval and the total number of shots and then tap [Complete].

STEP3

Interval shooting

When you tap the [Θ] button at the center of the screen, interval shooting will start at the specified intervals and the number of shots.

The images of the smartphone app are from RICOH THETA for iPhone. They may partially differ from RICOH THETA for Android.
