RICOH would like to announce that we have released a method to directly connect RICOH THETA S and RICOH THETA SC to PlayStation®4 (PS4®) sold by Sony Interactive Entertainment so that you can easily enjoy 360 degree VR images on the PlayStation®VR.
The latest PS4® Media Player can play RICOH THETA S/SC images.Therefore, by just connecting the THETA camera to a PS4® in a specific way, THETA owners can enjoy the 360 degree images that they took easily with the PlayStation®VR without the need to use a computer and edit them first, which was the case in the past.For details of how to connect THETA to a PS4®, see here.
