Common editing functions for still images and videos
One of THETA+'s most important features is that the view can be changed. 360 degree still images can be converted to your desired format.
The following five views are available.
In Little Planet view, images will appear as if people and buildings are standing atop a tiny world.
The view method in the basic app. In Mirror Ball view, the image appears as if a panorama has been pasted onto the surface of a mirror ball.
In Equirectangular view, the image appears as if a world map has been spread out onto a flat surface.
Original photos taken with RICOH THETA appear in this format.
Like Flat view, images in Straight view are projected onto a flat surface. In Straight view, however, the image appears stretched out, radiantly, from the center of the image to the edges.
This is a view that allows you to see 360-degree images from two different perspectives.
Adjust the coloring of an image by selecting from 1 of 10 filters.
Cropped Images and 360° Images
When using edit image, the export method differs depending on the type of image you wish to create.
The image can be cropped into a two-dimensional image. Cropped images can also be uploaded to SNS services that do not support 360 degree images.
・360 Degree Image
The image can be manually rotated after editing as well.
You can also share cropped images to SNS services such as Instagram that do not support 360° videos.
As with the basic app, 360° still images can be shared directly to services such as Facebook and Twitter. Through uploading and sharing 360° videos to Youtube and Facebook, you can also share images that can be spinned and rotated.
Editing functions for still images only
Decorate 360 degree images by entering text or selecting from approximately 100 stamps to paste onto the image.
A combined total of up to 16 stamps and texts can be placed onto one image.
*Stamps/text can now also be inserted in views other than Mirror Ball.
Crop spherical images to the size of your choosing. Images can be cropped freely, or according to popular pre-set ratios, such as square, 2:1 and 4:3.
It is possible to move around a single 360° image such as zooming in, pulling back, and turning. You can select from 9 movement patterns to make an animation, or customize movements of the animation from your own point of view.
You can adjust the speed, select the screen ratio, correct the image, select filters and stamps/text, and set the final angle.
This makes it possible to post videos even to SNS services that do not support 360° images.
